MIG welding
Robotic MIG welding made easier, faster, better
Designed for high-speed, continuous welds, our robotic MIG systems slot into your production without disruption: consistent quality, high output, and training your team picks up in a shift.
MIG WELDING AUTOMATIONWhy it works
What your shop gains
Faster cycle times
Cut downtime between welds. Beacon makes job setup fast so you can move more parts through the shop.
TIG-quality aesthetics
Dial in the stack-of-dimes look with pulse control, right inside Beacon.
Higher throughput
Run more parts per shift. Robotic MIG handles high-volume work without breaks, keeping projects on schedule.
Cleaner welds, less rework
Tight seams, consistent penetration, and uniform appearance mean less time spent on repairs and touch-ups.
About MIG welding
What is MIG welding?
MIG welding, or Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), feeds a continuous solid wire through the welding gun while shielding gas protects the weld from contamination, producing strong, clean joints with less spatter. It's the go-to process for shops that need speed, repeatability, and minimal cleanup across a wide range of metals. Beacon-powered cobots simplify it further: no manual wire feeding, no complex adjustments. Your own team programs clean, precise welds.
- Consistent quality for strength and clean, uniform beads
- High output across shifts without sacrificing precision
- Tap-to-teach programming: no code, no teach pendant
- Fast training so your team stays focused on production
Run it on the Cobot Welder
A complete MIG system: UR8 Long arm, your choice of Miller, ESAB, or OTC power source, Tregaskiss torch, and Beacon software, all programmed from a phone.
