Hirebotics Expands to FANUC CRX with Collaborative Painting Cobot

In 2025, Hirebotics expanded beyond the Universal Robots product platform for the first time, partnering with FANUC to bring the Beacon software to the FANUC CRX collaborative robot for painting applications. The result is the only certified collaborative painting cobot on the market — combining FANUC’s explosion-proof CRX-10iA/L Paint hardware with Hirebotics’ Beacon platform.

The expansion into painting marks a significant milestone for Hirebotics, which built its reputation on cobot welding and cutting. The FANUC CRX-10iA/L Paint is the first explosion-proof collaborative paint robot available globally, approved for painting, powder coating, and gel coating applications in hazardous environments.

Like Hirebotics’ welding and cutting solutions, the Cobot Painter is designed to be accessible to operators without robotics experience, using the same intuitive Beacon interface that fabrication shops already know.
