Hirebotics demonstrated a full lineup of new products and capabilities at FABTECH 2023 in Chicago. The showcase included the Cobot Welder — now updated to use the new UR20 cobot from Universal Robots with an impressive 1.75 m (5.7 ft) reach — along with the new Cobot Cutter for plasma cutting, Beacon Recommendations powered by AI, and the BeaconCare support program.
The Cobot Cutter made its FABTECH debut, using plasma-cutting technology and cutting software built on the Beacon platform to enable fast and precise cutting for steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Beacon Recommendations, a new AI feature, recommends welding and cutting parameters when setting up a part, helping operators get started faster.
Hirebotics also highlighted its flexible rental program, designed to let customers try cobot welding or cutting systems before committing to a purchase.
